Ep. 1 South America Gravel Trip
(ENG) At the beginning of March, Saül Pérez, @ nomada.saul from Vall del Llémena, Girona. He began a great journey of months through one of the southernmost parts of the planet, Patagonia, to its limits finding as its end, Ushuaia. Due to the world-wide pandemic, he had to stop his trip taking refuge in the middle of Chilean Pampas. By meteorological forces, due to the snow, the strong wind that oppresses the zone and the Antarctic cold, it forced to him to change of course, North direction, happening through indigenous towns until finding Santiago of Chile and finally to return home by mid-August focusing on a new destination, cycling the Iberian Peninsula.
During late summer and early autumn, he covered a total of 4800 kilometers in bikepacking format with a companion, doing the legendary Trans-Pyrenees and other great routes of the Peninsula.
Currently, he has returned to Chile and with this uncertain future, the course may turn north or south. But it sure leaves us with postcard images. In the coming months we will be discovering new news.
(CAT) A primers de març d'aquest any, Saül Pérez, @nomada.saul nascut a la Vall del Llémena, va començar un gran viatge de mesos per una de les parts més australs del planeta, la Patagonia, fins als seus límits trobant com a fi, Ushuaia. A causa de la pandèmia mundial, va haver d'aturar el seu viatge refugiant-se enmig de la pampa chilena. Per forces meteorològiques, a causa de la neu, el fort vent que oprimeix la zona i el fred antàrtic, el va obligar a canviar de rumb, direcció nord, passant per pobles indígenes fins a trobar Santiago de Chile i a la fi tornar a casa per mitjans d'agost enfocant un nou destí, la volta a la Península Ibérica.
Durant finals d'estiu i principis de tardor, va recórrer un total de 4800 kilòmetres amb format bikepacking amb un company, fent la mítica Transpirenaica i altres grans recorreguts de la Península.
