Ep. 2 South America Gravel Trip
(CAT) Qui diu que no es pot viatjar amb bicicleta en pandèmia? Equipa't, posa't les botes i surt a rodar uns quants dies. No es podran creuar fronteres però si superar metes i crear somnis.
A tocar d'Argentina i a uns quasi 200 km prop de Santiago, el nostre amic de la vall, Saül Pérez, la setmana passada es va disposar a entrar dins dels Andes per la Reserva Nacional Rio Cipreses a Xilè. La seva aproximació va ser de 350 km fins a la frontera amb Argentina per trobar els mítics relleus dels Andes i les seves aigües de colors turqueses provinents de les glaceres més altes de la zona.
Envoltat de natura i fauna, ens va explicar que l'aproximació fins allà va ser de dura pedra i una calor inhumana en ple estiu andí, però les altes temperatures i la pols no varen ser prou per a ell, per arribar dins del paradís i passar uns dies allà amb la tenda d'acampar i poder gaudir de l'estiu a la punta de món.

Last week, close to Argentina and about 200km from Santiago, our friend from the valley, Saül Pérez, set out to enter the Andes through the Rio Cipreses National Reserve in Chile. The trip was 350km to the border with Argentina to find the legendary mountain range of the Andes boasting its turquoise waters from the highest glaciers in the area.
Surrounded by nature and wildlife, he told us that on the ride he faced difficult terain and intolerable heat in the middle of the Andean summer, but the high temperatures and dust were not enough to prevent him from enjoying paradise at the edge of the world.
